Yesterday's Presidential encouragement to Governors opens the door to set a reopening date.

Hello Church and Friends,

Yesterday, President Trump strongly encouraged the reopening of churches. We, as pastors and leaders have been waiting on more detailed information from government and health officials before making any final decisions for Parkridge in regard to reopening. I have been consulting with many pastors of strong Broward and Palm Beach County churches through our Church United network. We have met weekly (via Zoom) for the past 6 weeks. Even today, my group text with these same leaders is "blowing up" with much excitement and very many questions.

So...I know you want to know when we are meeting again. Here is the plan, I will meet with our staff on Tuesday morning and then I will send out detailed communication to all of you with the what, when, and how. Over the next few days I will get feedback from our Administrative Leadership Team and Deacons, then on Tuesday, the full church staff. Obviously, we want to do everything we can to keep people safe when we open our doors...and we will. The really great news is that we will be opening our doors in the near future.

Be sure and check your email, the website, and all of our social media platforms on Tuesday afternoon. I can't wait for us to be back together soon!

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Eddie Bevill

3/17/2020 UPDATE: Watch the video update from Pastor Eddie regarding COVID-19. Read the following article for the latest changes.

We have been reviewing all official announcements regarding COVID-19 and all official recommendations from governmental and medical sources. It is our desire to take precautions which are practical and helpful but also to continue to serve our church family. Our worship of and trust in the Lord in all seasons of life speaks to the transformation He has accomplished in us, through us, and in spite of us.

There is a difference between faithfulness and foolishness. It is inappropriate to neglect caution and safety recommendations and then cite spiritual reasoning. With that view in mind, the pastors and deacons of Parkridge Church have decided to make adjustments in our weekly worship:

  1. Sunday service is ONLINE ONLY as a LIVE STREAM at 10:15am on March 22. The service will be posted on our media page after the service in case you miss the live stream.

  2. Wednesday evening activities are SUSPENDED until further notice.

  3. ParkridgeGroups and Classes are SUSPENDED until further notice. We encourage groups to continue praying for one another and spending time in God’s Word on online platforms such as RightNow Media.

Giving Online:

How do I change my giving to online? With church services moved online, you can easily give at parkridgechurch.com/give. Giving is an act of worship and demonstrates our gratitude for God's abundance towards us! Our only appropriate response is to give our lives to love God, love people, love service, and love the nations.

We would like to pray for you. You can submit your prayer requests online at parkridgechurch.com/prayer-form.

If you have any needs in which we could assist, it would be our joy to do so. Please know that we will continue in a spirit of prayer and availability to minister as the Lord opens doors and hearts for the gospel.

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

Life, as we know it, is completely transformed when the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ is received. His love, service, and reaching out to us has made all the difference.

Our only appropriate response is to give our lives to love God, love people, love service, and love the nations. As we live for the glory of the Lord, we accomplish the mission of the Lord. So, we invite you to join us in the posture which enables us to love, serve, and go wherever our Holy God leads.
